The new imageleft.com is live. This post explains the why and the how.
Why now
The old site was a Next.js project mixing marketing and back-office concerns. The new imageleft.com is a static Astro site with content driven by an adapter. That means faster deploys, sharper pages, and a clean separation between what users see and what the team manages.
What changed
- Static-first. No SSR. Pages render at build, served as plain HTML.
- Content adapter. Posts, jobs, and customer stories share a typed interface so the next iteration can swap to an HTTP API without touching call sites.
- A real design system. Tokens, primitives, and sections all live in one place.
